Proposed endpoint: GET /v1/plot?lat=&lon=&crop=&planted=. This page computes the same object client-side.

Data sources and limits

Live: soil moisture (5 depth layers), soil temperature, precipitation, reference evapotranspiration (FAO-56 Penman-Monteith), temperature and radiation from Open-Meteo, fetched directly from the browser, no API key. Free tier is licensed for non-commercial use; commercial use requires their paid API.
Not wired in v0: satellite vegetation indices (NDVI, NDRE). Sentinel-2 access requires an authenticated account and a server-side proxy. The "vegetative health" output here is a soil-water stress model, not a satellite observation.
Yield: the yield field is a relative index (0 to 100) from modeled water stress and heat accumulation. It is not calibrated against harvest records and should not be read as tonnes per hectare.
Soil physical parameters are user-supplied defaults, not a soil survey lookup.
